EL RANCHO TEEN COURT

April 2019

Q1: Do you believe the defendant was being truthful as to why he beat up the victim? Why or Why not?

Q2: The defendant said he did not post the video, however the video was posted from his personal account at 5:01 am. Is it likely that someone other than him would post it on his account? From your personal perspective do you allow other people to post from your accounts?

1. I believe the defendant was being truthful as why he beat up the victim because there was a video to show it.

2. It’s likely that he posted the video and is trying to make it seem like someone did it. And no I would not allow anyone to log into my accounts.

Q1: I do believe the defendant was being truthful because the mother even stated that they had talked to the dean about the bullying going on.
Q2: I personally do not believe that someone else posted the video for him. I don’t allow my friends to post things on my account.

i felt that the defendant was being truthful as to beating up the victim. he did confess to having to plan the rush on the victim.

q2: yes it is possible for the video to leak. and i do think it should be around. i mean if u post it u want others to see and if others are looking ur letting the whole world now and it will be out there forever once u push the button to post.

1) I beileve there was more to the story than was lead on. He made it seem as the reason why he beat him up was just for making fun of him. There was more that happened that he didnt want to say.
2) It could be likely that someone else did post it if he allows them to post or if someone else hass access to his accounts. From my personal perspective i wouldnt allow someone to post on my account as you dont know what they are gonna post.

1.) No, I don’t think that he defendant was being that truthful because he stated many times that he simply wanted to speak to the victim in a calmly manner. However he was actually waiting for the victim because he knew that he wanted to fight him, and not just speak with him.
2.)No, I dont think that someone else would be posting him fighting on his own account. From my experience I would let anyone have my log in information, let alone actually be posting something. He was most likely lying about it, and didn’t even seem surprised as he was watching the video.

Q1: I do believe that the defendant did have altercations with the victim. However, I do believe that the victim did exaggerate a bit and may have also not understood the situation. As he had trouble understanding question multiple times throughout questioning.

Q2: In my personal perspective I would never allow others to post on my account. It would not only be an invasion of brivaxy but basic human rights of privacy.

1) Yes because his mother did agree and the consequences would be worse if they both lied about the situation and it’s common for kids to bully others in that way.
2) from my perspective I couldn’t really tell what account it was cause it only said a name and someone could’ve been framing him so I don’t think he would’ve posted it himself.

1.i feel that’s he is being truthful why he was beating the guy up because he know he was gonna regret but he was feed up.
2.it could be that his friend posted it for him or he just wanted to show off that he beat up a kid.from my personal view point I would let them if it was right to post if not then I wouldn’t .

1.) I think so I mean after having to put up with your sibling being pushed around and someone calling you and your mom names I would probably have done the same thing especially if the school wasn’t doing anything about it after it’s been reported so many times
2.) I don’t think so not unless one of his friends got his phone and posted it I don’t ever let my friends post on my social media ever nor do I on theirs and if it ever did happen it would be a little joke and we would post a picture of ourselves not of a fight.

Yes because the reason he did it matched up with his mom's explaination to why he did it. No it is not likely that somebody else went on his personal account and posted the video. No I don't allow other people to post on my personal account.

The defendant said the truth and even went into detail about the events that lead to the whole fight, so I personally believe him.
It's possible that someone could have posted the video, or maybe he said that he didn't post it to avoid any more toruble

1) I believe the defendant was being truthful as to why he beat up the victim because of all the detail he went into, and his mom backs up his side of the story.2) There is a chance the defendant could have gave one of his friends his account to post the video. From my personal perspective I would not give anyone my account information
