1) I do not believe the verdict. I think that their was a possibility that she could have pushed her grandmother , especially considering that she has a violent past and can’t deal with anger in a calm matter. I also believe that a guilty verdict would have benefited her greatly because she would have been able to get anger management classes and family therapy to help her cope with her emotions.

2)It is very hard to say who was telling the truth because both the defendant and the grandmother kept on changing stories. I think that the grandmother was telling the truth but maybe a cloudy one where she may have mixed up a few things. But so did the defendant. Considering the past actions taken by the defendant and her violent actions her plea for innocence is not ligitimat in my eyes. Although she didn’t think she was guilty I felt that she took the case seriously because she answered all the questions properly and made eye contact and was very involved with court in general.

1) I think that she should've been guilty. Given the her past and her anger issues, it wouldn't have been hard to believe that she would've pushed her grandmother, even on accident. She would've also gotten more restorative benefits from being guilty.

2. The grandmother seemed to exaggerate a lot even though she made some valid points. The grandmother also seemed to favor the other granddaughter and didn't seem to understand the other granddaughters perspective. The defendant seemed to take the case seriously and wanted to take the chance to explain herself.

Q1: I do not agree with the verdict because there were no consequences for the defendants actions, therefore the defendant hasn’t discovered how her actions affect other people.

Q2: I believe the defendant a little bit more because the grandmother didn’t stick to one thing and she sounded like she was exaggerating the scenario. I don’t think the defendant took the case seriously because she looked annoyed.

1,) I agree with the verdict because the grandmother seemed like she was exaggerating things a bit more that she should have but I also believe the defendant should have been guilty because she was also very disrespectful to her grandma and sister and she could at least get some sort of therapy.

2.) I believe the defendant a bit more because in my opinion I feel like the grandmother tried to get the defendant out of the house and also cared more for the little sister more.

yes i did agree with the verdict. the minor does seem in a lot of pain and not a lot of people didn’t talked upon it, which was pretty sad. the minor is young and she’s going through hell. she needs a path to lead her to her bright future.

q2: i believer the minor more because the grandma seemed like she was over reacting like any other grandma.

I agree with the verdict of the trial because it wasn’t very clear & I didn’t agree with the convictions. I believed the defendant more because the grandmothers story was constantly changing & the defendants stayed the same and seemed reasonable. I do think the defendant took the case seriously because she answered all the questions we asked thoroughly.

1.) I think the verdict was justified since it was more of a family case than a serious one
2.) I believe the defendant but she didn’t seem to take it seriously more like she just said what she did to hurry up and leave

1.I agree with the verdict of the case because I do not believe she commited the crime ,also this should have never been put to trial,I feel like it was more of a family problem which could have been solved at home
2.I believed the defendant not only because I felt like the grandmother was going against her but because she gave us a brief description of what had happened that day, also the grandma kept switching up her story.

I agree with the verdict because I feel like the grandma was lying to try to get the daughter in trouble since the daughter was disrespecting her. I believe the defendant more because if her story stayed the same the whole time but the grandma's story seemed to change.

I agree completly with the outcome of this trial. The grandma had her heart at the right place but evidence was flawed.I doubt the defendant took the case seriously but I had a felling the grandma was over reacting so we found the defendant not guilty

The defendant was obviously guilty, even as a minor with the whole situation, she did not act in a calm manner which would have prevented the whole arrest.
The grandmother seems like the more reliable source in most aspects, but there were times when she seemed susceptible.

Q1. I agree with the verdict because the grandmother didn’t really seem to stick with one story, she kept changing it.
Q2. I believed the defendant more because her story made actually sense. I don’t think the defendant took the case serious enough.

I agree with the verdict because the grandma seemed to changes her story while the defendant sticked to one story.

I believe the defendant because she seems calm and knows what she was talking about, the grandma looked like she was struggling
